Iyengar Yoga
Iyengar Yoga is the system of yoga created and developed by Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar. It is based on the traditional eight limbs of yoga, as detailed in the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali. Iyengar Yoga is accessible to students of all ages and all body types. Its focus on precision, timing, sequencing, and the use of props helps the practitioner develop awareness in any asana. It has a rigorous and comprehensive certification process and offers ongoing continuing education for its teachers. Learn more about Iyengar Yoga here.
