Drumming Up Intention: A Renewal Ritual with Spirit

  • Akasha Collective 5810 West 38th Avenue Wheat Ridge, CO, 80212 United States (map)

Join Tiffany Bucknam and Sequoia Sage Garza-Keith for a new-calendar-year Ritual with depth and intention. Winter is the season of rest so new growth may later arise. In connection with the Earth, our ritual includes elements of looking within to see what’s next and cleansing that which stands in its way.

We open with a Cacao Ceremony to connect inwardly and communally, then take what arises with the Cacao into Vision Board work to support manifestation of that which is arising for you.

The second half of the Ritual removes obstacles with a Burning Bowl Ceremony (traditional Mexica use of fire to burn away that which is no longer serving). We conclude with an hour-long Drum Sound Healing Journey to support rest and deep release.

This Ritual is for people of all backgrounds and abilities. There is not a movement practice planned, though you are invited to move if it naturally arises. Please dress in layers as you may experience warmness during the Cacao Ceremony and coolness during the Drum Journey. Chairs are available for those unable to get onto and off of the floor, though resting on the floor with props is encouraged during the Drum Journey.
