embodied magic
a weekend of deep, joyful Iyengar Yoga sadhana
Alignment-based asana is somatic alchemy. Through compassionate, skillful practice, we can break the spell of old patterns in our body, nervous system, mind, and senses of perception that keep us stuck in survival mode, exhaustion, overwhelm.
Join us for this special opportunity to study with visiting guest teacher Avery Kalapa. We’ll explore affirming, inspiring yoga asana, pranayama, philosophy, and deep relaxation as tools for integration and rejuvenation.
Stability and decompression are 2 keys to functional embodiment that can empower you to re-organize your body, and through that, how consciousness moves through your being. Alignment isn't about imposing ideals onto your body, it’s about honoring its divine design, and clearing away what blocks the flow of prana, vital energy. Come discover new possibilities and deepen your understanding of yoga’s “practical magic” as it transforms how you feel, create, relate, and show up for this precious life.
This weekend features a wonderful blend of ingredients: we’ll geek out on cool anatomy and alignment, play and laugh, explore strong, rigorous practice, experience spacious spiritual expansion, and align our inner work with collective liberation, as we rise to meet this moment with courage, compassion, and community.
This brave, inclusive space cherishes diversity and warmly welcomes all, especially those who have been historically excluded from wellness. This weekend will re-juice your practice, your resilience, and your love of life!
Do you want to deepen your yoga practice but feel afraid to get hurt or feel pressured to do things that aren't good for you? This workshop is designed with care to meet you where you’re at. We’ll explore an unrushed, FUN, intelligent approach to yoga that uplifts your agency, and will give you new skills, courage, and empowering ways to feel better in body and mind.
Iyengar Yoga offers us practices that are both practical and profound: as we re-organize our bones and muscles, we restructure how mind, emotions, and consciousness flow. We create positive change from the inside out, which is good not only for us personally, but nourishes our collective world.
Lovingly support YOUR body in its inherent intelligence as you stabilize your joints, calm your nervous system, lengthen your spine, hydrate your inner organs, let go of the stress, and breathe in ways that feel like a prayer.

Much care and thought has been put into the cost of this workshop. It is important to us to balance being fair to the needs of students and economic justice for our teachers. Your fee supports both a living wage for our teachers and the integrity of the work, which is not well upheld on a “side gig” basis. If you want to come but cost is an issue, please email Tiffany.
