Positivity is a practice, something that we cultivate in the mind like growing flowers in the garden. This 6-session workshop series is designed to help you start to practice positivity. Along the way, we will explore a range of topics, including neuroplasticity, Nonviolent Communication, anger, habits, narratives, and belief systems. We’ll cultivate skills: non-judgemental observation, self-study, gratitude, Nonviolent Self-Talk, vulnerability, and somatic experiencing.
The cultivation of positivity can support healing from trauma, obesity, addiction, and mental illness. If you struggle with depression, stress or anger management, negative self-talk, or self-sabotage; if you frequently feel dissatisfied in your daily life and relationships; if your childhood or marital home environment was/is negative, full of conflict, or critical, this class can help you.
